What is glossy finish?
Glossy finish refers to the finish that has the smooth surface, high polishing and strong reflective effect, and can reach the mirror effect at some degree. It is suitable the printing of complex design at bright colors and colors contrast sharply, so as to make the gloss and color purity higher, and improve the visual effect.
Operation Details
PVC Card – At the card lamination step, put the bound card layers between 2 glossy steel plates, then laminate them, then the card finish will become glossy.
Paper Card – A piece of paper card is composed of 2 layers, the front layer and the opposite layer. Firstly, print the 2 layers respectively; secondly, add the glossy films to the printed sides of the 2 layers separately, and the printed sides will become glossy; thirdly, stick the 2 layers together, and a large glossy card will be made; finally, cut it into separate smaller glossy paper cards.
Metal Card – The original metal material is glossy.
Attention Please
If you need to print this finish background as the dark color, don’t choose glossy effect, because the scratches on dark color glossy background will be obvious, which makes the whole finish don’t look not pretty.

Operation Details
PVC Card – At the card lamination step, put the bound card layers between 2 matte steel plates, then laminate them, then the card finish will become matte.

Firstly, print the 2 layers respectively; secondly, add the matte films to the printed sides of the 2 layers separately, and the printed sides will become glossy; thirdly, stick the 2 layers together, and a large matte card will be made; finally, cut it into separate smaller matte paper cards.
Metal Card – It is made according to the electroplating technique.

It is suitable for the printing of simple design and dark background.
Crafts Effect
- It is not reflective or the reflection is not obvious.
- Its surface is smooth.
- The matte PVC card and paper card are not easy to get dirty, worn, and scratched, and even they are scratched, the scratches won’t be obvious.
- The matte metal card is not easy to get scratched and even it is scratched, the scratches won’t be obvious. By the way, the fingerprints on the matte metal card is obvious.

Frosted finish refers to the finish which touches grainy, like the surface sprinkled the fine sand, not smooth at all. And it is not reflective.
Operation Details
PVC Card – At the card lamination step, put the bound card layers between 2 frosted steel plates, then laminate them, then the card finish will become frosted. By the way, the frosted degree changes as the frosted steel plate changes.
Metal Card – Corrode the metal card surface with the special potion to make the surface grainy, so as to realize the matte effect.

Mirror finish refers to the finish which owns smooth, clear, and bright surface. And it can perfectly show the image of the person or object in front of it like a mirror, because of its excellent reflection effect; which makes the whole card look higher-end and special.
Operation Details
PVC Card – Firstly, print the PVC card; secondly, add the PVC mirror films to the card’s both sides; finally, laminate them, and the card will become the mirror PVC card.
Metal Card – Pour the abrasive liquid on the metal card, and polish it via the polishing equipment, until the card surface gets flat and get as clear as a mirror, then a mirror metal card is made.
Attention Please
Just plastic or metal can be made into the mirror finish.
Fingerprints on it are as obvious as them on a mirror, which makes the finish easily get dirty and need to be well protected.
