Craft Introduction

What is hole punch?

It refers to punching holes on the solids or sturdy materials by using a hole puncher. And the following ones are the typical hole shapes:

Operation Details

1. Confirm the position where you need a hole appear.

2. Aim hole puncher at that position, and start to punch it.

3. You can choose to wrap the hole edge with the metal. For one part, the hole will look prettier and can be better protected. For another part, it can help you fix several cards with holes together more simply. (wrap the hole or not wrap the hole are both okay)

4. Generally speaking, this operation is automatically. However, when the cards that needs to be punched holes are few, it will be operate by the semi-automatic means as the following video shows:

Attention Please

  1. The hole position should be accurately aimed at the hole puncher, or the card will be wasted.
  2. The mold used for the hole punch has a limited service life. If it is worn out seriously, you’d better change a new one, or the punching cannot be completed smoothly and the card will even be damaged.
  3. If you need to punch a hole at the RFID card, you need to avoid the RFID chip and the coils inside the card, or the card will be damaged and get useless.

Crafts Effect

The punched holes can be various shapes, and can help decorate the card at some degree. Besides, these holes can also be useful sometimes because you can put a string through them and hang them at some position, which makes the cards more portable.
